Don't forget that in February United were still 9 points behind Arsenal. To come from behind like they did is a great achievement in itself.
yea but again i'll say arsenal threw away the league

they should walked this league and i think during the season they threw away 3 5 point leads
yea but hj if chelsea sneak the league it would be more along the line of united losing the league and not chelsea winning it

So basically Arsenal should have won the league.
I used to be a big Man U fan back then, but realized i was starting to be big headed, and I stopped. :D
The thing with being a Man U, u tend to stop being a soccer fan, and become some sort of a hooligan.

/me runs far away coz Merc will kick my arse.

I agree 100% They have this arrogance about them :D

no u missed my point heiti

nobody deserves the league until they win it, if you have the best defence and best attack and won the most you should win the league if you dont you cannot say u deserved it

so what im saying if united draw against wigan and chelsea win the league then chelsea deserve the league, the stuck in there got results. it does not matter how they play the fact would be they have more points and have won the league

Perhaps, but I am sure most people would prefer the more exiting team to win ;)

i would as well hj

watching chelsea play is like watching paint dry sometimes

i also think chelsea will change that, JM liked a defensive game while having some of the most deadly players on the planet

poor form but grant in the last few weeks certainly has chelsea playing some great footie and i have a feeling the champs league wont be anything like the fa cup final that i wish i had never wasted 115 odd minutes watching

Dont u guys think Grant deserves alot of respect. this is the first big club he has coached, took over during tough times of the club. Everybody hated him, still do :d

And yet is job still isnt safe. Rafa said in the week, if Grants job isnt safe then no coach's job is safe :D

Grant has delivered a CL final and close to winning the league. not bad for a make shift coach.

RespekT!

I agree.

Man United have had a few awful games as well, in terms of entertainment but it is certainly the exception to the rule.

The Roma away leg and most of the Barca games were pretty poor. The 2nd leg of the barca game was a bit more exciting at least

i didnt mind watching those away games

i hated the first leg of the barce game but i knew what ferguson was doing was more than likely the most intelligent thing

at the end of the day united will beat wigan, i cannot see how a full strength united would drop points

for me the title is over and was before the westham game

its just a matter of who can win the champs league :)

I don't agree with what Fergie did in the away legs. Go out and aim for a win, or at least an away goal for heaven's sake! Sitting back and playing for a 0-0 draw is pathetic.

Go out and attack, get a goal or two, then rest the key players in the 2nd half.

We have not performed impressively away in the CL for aaaages now.

But yes, the league is over ;)

Ya, United played like doggy balls. But hey it worked for them. They only managed a measly 27% posession at the Camp Nou. Barca deserved a goal there.

Even at Old Trafford, Barca also had more chances than them. Not everyday a team comes to Old Trafford and has more possession and more chances.

I believe the better team lost. Of course you peeps think differently. But one thing was for certain, United still got a long way to go to play attacking football in Europe. that was proven against Barca ;)

Indeed. The best team cannot be the one that doesn't manage to score at all over two legs and 180 mins ;)

Too true. Lets just say United were the luckiest team over the two legs ;D

How they managed only 27% possession is beyond me, and you okes rant and rave about attacking football :D

Indeed. I hated fergie over those two games - but in the end we are still in the final :)

Dont know if you guys saw the half-time interview with Fergie but in it he was going on about "we need another goal/we going to attack/cant just sit back and defend".........then when the game started they just sat back and defended.

You are fighting a losing battle boet. Get out while you are still alive.

I agree. The results speak for themselves. JM couldn't do it, but he could.

You can have 99% possession, it means nothing if you can't score. At the end of the day, it comes down to taking your chances.

Lol.

Lol. I'm not arrogant. If you read the forums, I've always admitted when my team plays poorly. I have no trouble doing that.

 What what what?!

Lol. Sounded like Mrs. Brafflovski for a moment there lol.

PS: I won't kick your arse :)
