You forget one little thing - moral - after United got 2 wigan were demoralized - 2-0 they cant come back 1-0 off the giggs goal they can - it made it for you it dropped them down a gear - hope is important without it well they giveup - see man city.

J

Hehe, funny argument that. But whatever ;)

Well if we are being fair then it should be 3-1 or 4-1 considering Scholes and Rooney's legitimate penalty appeals.

Ya, I forgot about Rooney's shout when the ball touched the defenders hand first, then the free kick was awarded against him for handball...Dodgy one that as well...

I am not going to keep pissing in the wind - I have yet to hear a neutral say ferdinand did not commit a handball - only people that seem to say it isnt are United fans. I have spoken to pool/chelsea/arsenal fans and even total neutrals and they arent disputing that it is. - Blinkers.com dubiousdecisions.com maradonnaplayacting.com - go watch wwf or wwe please its more suited to what you want to see - antics - bullcrap.

That would be morale ;) Like Wigan EVER had a chance :o

I was trying to be understanding here...work with me!

No no no if you were bteing fair then wigan would have had a penalty vs ferdinand and would have had scoles carded earlier for his late tackling - but whatever im not going to piss in the wind anymore - all of you should just go suck of CR or some such and build an idol - im over the blinkered view of the world - the earth is flat.

LOL. Ok man. Go and sulk in the corner then ;)

I'll see you next Friday...

Jsheed, do you honestly believe that Man U won purely based on the refereeing? I believe that Chelsea playing a second rate team would have beaten Wigan! Let alone a full strength man U team! Man U are deserved winners of the title taking the entire competition into account! I am pretty sure you would agree that Man U had Wigan beaten even before they walked out onto that pitch...

Whatever dude if you want a biased opinion go stay in Nazi Germany and believe the world is flat - I am not disputing the fact that United has won the league nor am I angry about it - congrats to them - I just think Wigan was robbed by the ref on more than one occasion - and for Sir Alex to complain that nothing ever goes united way - well he should just rewatch this - 6 bloody calls against wigan - go do me a favour and look at the stats for the refs calls 80-90% favour of united - for a home side to get that against them really is amazing...

Dude an away team can get 100% decisions for them, if they are justified...

I am neutral, dont support any teams. That was a penalty. Rio handled the ball, i read somewhere here that it didnt touch his hand so it wasnt handball.

bwhahahhahaha That comment sums up the mentality here :D

I would agree Man U deserves the season but I dont agree with how they got this game - play acting should not be allowed and if I was the FA I would make an example - if you are going to play on Liverpool for Mascarano (spelling) then you should atleast card CR for his backchatting and permanent waving of hands in the air for appeals when hes just falling over left right and center like a drunk.

Doesnt sound like it. If this is you "not angry" then I sincerely hope that you dont own a weapon!

They bloody arent justified in this case - its the most biased display I have ever seen and I would have said the same thing had it been the first game of the season.

Evil flourishes when good man stand idly by. If I see something wrong I say it. I say what I feel and I feel what I say and im not going to back down for anybody.

Wonder what your mentality is like in real life - whoops theres some bad **** someone got mugged but oh what could i do , whats the use of speaking up - turn a blind eye - seriously...

Well you are a Chelsea supporter so I can understand your constant frustration, annoyance and misunderstandings of the modern game of football. :D

Lets face it, Chelsea are no strangers to the diving game either. It is a part of the modern game unfortunately and I agree with you that it shouldnt be, but I believe that a team's success is directly proportional to their ability to take advantage of this... Until the FA step in or the refereeing community begin to further clamp down on it with post match citations.

If you watch the replay of the 1st penalty given, there is clear contact on Rooney who was in a very good scoring position - he might have made a meal of it however that is a moot point as the foul was committed regardless.

Scholes penalty appeal - clearly a penalty! Wasnt given. His legs were taken from out of him and the defender only got the smallest of touches on the ball after he was through Scholes' legs. It was even clearer than Rooney's but clearly the referee wanted to keep things interesting. They often do that!

Rio penalty appeal for Wigan - a 50/50 decision. Could have gone either way and refs will 9/10 give the benefit of the doubt to the defending team. In real-time, I might have given it as a penalty, on the replay I wouldnt have.

Scholes 2nd card - again 50/50, and a red card in a game of this stature would have been a ridiculous call considering it was borderline. Refs know this and will often rather have a word and allow the manager to replace the player. It is not biased and the call would have been the same had it been against Wigan.
