Perhaps, but at least we still have local players in our first team, and have a strong focus on the youth academy. Same can't be said for a certain team who were the 1st to field a team without one single Englishman in it...

Yah broer... I hope Man United will record the Arsenal game and gt tips on how to play the hammers. As for lacking trust in their signings, it's Man United who have spent tens of millions of pounds on new signings and Arsenal who have stuck with theirs. lol

The same can be said for Arsenal. Under Graham Taylor, when they were arguably the most boring, defensive team ever, and won very little, no one supported them. Now, they are top of the league and winning things...Hmmm.

United and Liverpool(despite their obvious deficiencies) have always had a great and loyal following.

Obviously nobody remembers the 'Highbury Library" of a few years back. Great support there. :rolleyes:

Arsenal have the most consecutive premiership appearences - they have done it since 1920. They also had 3 consecutive titles as far back as the 30's. They also have the most consecutive wins in the premiership (14). They have played a season without loss (2003-04). They have the longest unbeaten league run (49!). They also scored in every game in the 2001/2002 season. Man United weren't even thinking of the premiership when some of those were set.

It's a global society. Nearly 70 million people on that little island and no prizes for guessing what percentage are foreigners.

If you want to make it a pissing contest...United have won more league titles than Arsenal (soon to be more than anyone), more FA Cups, and more European Cups. How many times have Arsenal won the European Cup??
 
United and Arsenal with comfortable home wins...

We shall see how strong the Arsenal squad is over the next six weeks or so when they lose some key players to the African Cup of nations.

Bradbowlllama... Arsenal can hold all the records I certainly do not mind... all that really count is the premier league...

What have the Gunners done over the last 15 seasons? I know that The Red Devils won the premier league 9 times...

The Red Devils have won more league titles than The Gunners (soon to be more than anyone),
more FA Cups that the Gunners and /or everyone?,
and more European Cups than the gunners.
How many times have Arsenal won the European Cup??.... not once????

Other records don't really count in reflection of TITLES...
 
Yeah, so it must suck to see them trailing the gunners. And it must have sucked to watch them get beaten by westham after saying that it's winning that counts.

Not really. If you knew anything at all about football you would know that there is still half the season to be played. The top four are all still quite close together. The African Cup of Nations will shake things up for sure.

After three games of the season United had only two points and were without a win. People were writing them off then already. Anyone with any sense knew that it was still a long long way to go.

Arsenal, Chelsea and liverpool will be seriously hampered in their charge for the title...
Six weeks, six matches... which you can draw or lose due to loss of players...
It will sap your squad's energy and I am sure "The Red Devils" have the inside lane...

erm.. How many players are Liverpool losing? Last I checked - 0.

and once again, Arsenal are only losing Toure and Eboue.. Toure is a huge knock, but it gives the likes of Song, Senderos, Djourou to prove their worth.. and perhaps Gilberto the opportunity to take up a new position..

Chelsea will suffer though.
Along with Portsmouth..

Senderos played previously and was dropped so...
Song he sings for Liverpool... Djourou yes he can prove himself...

Senderos wasnt dropped its just that Toure and Gallas are better..
Song sings for liverpool? wtf? :)
Gilberto was a DM and can play CB, but hes not match fit. Song was pretty impressive in the Carling Cup against Blackburn..

It certainly sucked, but you take it on the chin and play the next game...
Don't hang around like Livertoolie and Arseholie supporters looking for excuses or blaming the players for not performing...

Anyhow winning is all that matters, they banked the three points. They lost the game against West Ham from 2 dead ball situations... so West Ham did not really created anything, just throw the ball in the box and hope for the best... it worked...

The goal that Christiano Ronaldo scored was absolutely brilliant...
But in soccer you take a win any way it is achieved and the same goes of for the game that I actually support...
