lol your a defensive arsenal fan

i dont think drawing at home to united and conceding 2 is to bad

united have one of the strongest teams since 99, if arsenal can hold them at home and hold or beat them at old trafford, well done i say

arsenal need to draw or loose to the big teams to have a chance

man u did it last season and won the prem, i think when your drawing and loosing to the weak team you have a problem

im sure united at the beginning of this season, if you told them you will be beaten by arsenal and chelsea in both games but you'll win the league

they would take it
 
i'm a United fan, but i will give credit where it's due. Arsenal are playing really well this season and if i was a neutral i would've supported Arsenal this season, but i still back my team to retain the title. Arsenal still have to play teams like Chelsea(who are playing really well ATM) and they have to go to Old Trafford :)
One or two points could be the title this season. i think United done really well going to an Arsenal side that looks like championship material this season, and to score 2 goals against Arsenal at their home ground. Arsenal were in real danger of losing and i think United may have been the first team this season to pose a genuine threat to Arsenal. however, i take nothing away from them, they are a good team.
the way i see it, Arsenal should enjoy their time at the top, but i think this season might be the best the Premiership has ever seen, simply because more teams are much stronger now.

This one is hilarious though.. What English talent does utd have besides Rooney and maybe Ferdinand?

O'shea? Fletcher? lol... not exactly going to win you the league :)

Its already been shown that without Ronaldo they struggle a little..

who have arsenal got, one player who is pretty good and will become great one day

i agree, english clubs should have some local talent or there will be trouble in terms of english football as a country
 
who cares about english football as a country? who actually watches the cr*p known as international football? :)
it'll do more damage to the premier league than anything else... and united will be effected as badly as arsenal -> tevez, ronaldo, anderson, nani, evra, saha etc...

out of the starting 11 on saturday how many were english?

all this will do is drop the standard of football played in england..
 
I think it's a good idea. There should be 5 English players for every 20 odd players in a squad. Only problem is the price and wages for English players will go through the roof. Far worse than now.

My biggest problem with Arsenal is their lack of English players. That and they are whiners :D

I guess Wenger has to be trembling a bit at this news. They had this rule in place about 10-15 years ago - whatever happened to it I wonder. I guess the EU origination.
 
why would united feel threatened

all ferguson said is he agree's with this stuff

its going to happen and arsenal are going to suffer because of it, united have plenty english stars

Which was just the point made here yesterday. He goes on to say:

the only reason rafa is struggling is because as a manager he sucks

any manager who has crouch sitting on the best 90% of the time should be fired

crouch adds a whole new dimension is liverpool, he do just about anything in terms of goal scoring and you can knock the ball long for him to head down

i have never seen a perfect hatrick, crouch was the first person i've ever seen who scored with his head left and right foot

it's gonna be so exciting this season. now we have 3 genuine contenders for the title - Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea.
