2007 Auris 1.6 MMT. Drives 20km & gears dissappear, only "N" flashes. Car still idles but no gears, turn off ignition for 15 minutes, start & car drives normal. Same procedure repeats itself daily.

Seems like it could be faulty. Have you considered getting it fixed?

It just came back from the gearbox mechanic after it spent almost three weeks there, the gearbox/actuator is working fine. I am think it might be something electronic that is why I am losing my gears every time?

Well if it just came back from the gearbox mechanic and can’t stay In gear I suggest you get a refund. It’s clearly not fixed.

In terms of fixing it though, maybe you should take it to a reputable mechanic who can put it on a diagnostics machine and tell you what the actual error is. Then you will know what needs fixing.

Since it's an auto, it might not have been fully refilled with ATF. It's not creating enough pressure to have gears selected. Just take it back to the mechanic.

Why did you make the font so massive?

PS Take it to a reputable mechanic and have diagnostics done.
