There goes all the hope I put into our team :( Anyway I'll support them until the fat lady sings, we need a miracle to win this.

Smith and Kallis what kind of shots were those man?!! Was the 'strategy' to out and smash.
 
Too much talk before the game, they should have done what SL did and refused to talk to the media. Let your cricket do the talking.
 
we got big heads thought we could go out on a swinging wicket and smash the best bowler of my time out of the park

i think the aussies wanted us to be no 1 in the world inflate our heads to make it easy for them

They choked. Australia choked them mentally and the SA boys have no BMT to cope.
 
Well I'm not giving up yet just like the boys shouldn't. Give it everything and if the Aussies win then credit to them and (vomit) I'll probably want them to go on and win the tourney if they win today, they deserve it.

But until that happens it's GO SA!!!
 
I think I must take up a new career.. playing cricket is suddenly a possibility cause after today I doubt I could ever do as badly.
 
why does oz deserve it? lol sa playd ***, oz didnt play well!

The quality of our batting caused the collapse more than the quality of their bowling caused it I think. But ya credit where it's due, they were not slouches with the ball.

sigh I think I'm slipping into a depression now..:(
 
I was looking forward to enjoying my Debonairs Deep Dish while watching the Saffers give 'em a hiding, guess that idea got thrown out pretty quick. :(

Still hopeful though that Nel and Langevelt can pull a miracle from somewhere. I just want that gold cup in SA, is that too much to ask?
 
OK, whats been done is done. now we need wickets, and we know that we can't defend this total. So I hope we see AT LEAST 3 slips to start with.
 
They look comfortable facing the new ball...unlike our openers. Smith if you're listening let Hall open bowling with Polly. He got incredible swing in the last game so he's worth a try.

That is how I would play it. All out attack. I mean all out. every man in a catching position.

Force the aussies to go over the top. Combine that with good bowling and a few early wickets and who knows...

But no, we will play our normal game, and they will get there in less than 30 overs.

*sigh
