2007 Nissan Tiida 1.6 - common issues??

Hey guys

I have been looking at buying a 2nd hand vehicle and found a 2007 Nissan Tiida 1.6 for sale. I do not know the milleage as yet but the vehicle is in good condition, just a bit dirty, interior is clean and neat. Owner tells me me the electric windows do not work and the central locking seems sketchy but he said he would sort this out. Also a large dent in the roof. I did not have the keys to start it or drive it yet.

I would like to know about the maintenance costs of this vehicle, how much I should pay for such a model in this condition. Having never owned a newish car like this which has alot more electronics (I have a mid 90s sedan), are they a hassle? What are common faults on this vehicle?

Opinions of people who have owned this model are most welcome.

Electronic parts will give out one day or another. Some wear faster than others especially actuator parts such as throttle bodies (most cars have it).

You must also ask for a diagnostic scan while you are there.

Not sure a diagnostic scan would be possible at this point? Are they expensive to do at Nissan?

Nissan in Parow has given me two diagnostics scans for free at two separate occasions, chances are the other branches will do the same ?

I have a 2011 Nissan Tiida Sedan. Nice car. Big boot space. had it for a few years now. No issues. Touch wood. Maybe looking for a upgrade soon.

How much is the seller asking for it? it is important to know the mileage and the service history to make an informed decision on the price.
