Does anyone know where is the speed sensor located on this car, it is the Duratec version. The speedometer is intermittently going on and off and the I have picked up a code for the speed sensors.

It wasn't a bother previously but nowadays it is a nuisance as the radio volume has began reacting to it when it wakes up from its slumber, yes it's a Ford and the radio is designed to increase the volume with higher engine speeds to compensate for the noise, but with the intermittent speedometer the radio volume is also now following suit.

gearbox .by driveshaft ,if it has one .edit ,whats the dtc code edit edit ,cant do nutting witout the code ,P? B?etc .

So either its on the gearbox or the ABS sensor, you could always call Ford and ask them.

Newer fords dont have speed sensors - on older fords it was looked above the diff hole on the drivers side but on duratec engined fords the speed is calculated through the ABS sensor.

There is a setting in the audio unit to disable volume increases by speed, go explore
