I cannot find specs for this car anywhere on the internet.

except this: http://www.cargister.com/2008-opel-corsa-1-4-lite-spec

However it doesn't list if it has airbags or not.

I know the previous versions don't have any, nor do they have abs (but i'm just going to assume neither does the 2008)

**edit**

Ahh seller just got back to and you guys are right. No airbags.

How do you tell the difference from the Corsa C 1.4 sport to the Corsa C 1.4 club?

I see the one has airbags and the other doesn't. Viewing one that was listed as sport and need to make sure it actually is.

All Corsa B's in SA don't have airbags regardless of the year model. Airbags only start on the Corsa C I think.

According to the ever resourceful Wiki the Corsa B (Corsa Lite shape) ran from 1993 till 2000. Of course it ran for much longer in SA as low cost solution for GMSA.

Corsa B has zero airbags (any model) to my knowledge.

Club was the bare bones spec on Corsa C.
No aircon and no abs will be the easiest to tell. Bumper with fog lights could be fitted quite easily afterwards. Guys more familiar could maybe elaborate on interior trim. (I think it was different as well)

Sport had abs on front discs and aircon as standard.

There should be a small badge at the fender by the front wheel side that should identify as Sport or Club.

Thanks will check these out

Also winding windows for the Club compared to the electric for the Sport, the sport also has the steering radio buttons, like this:

Corsa C, apparently sale by owner

It's probably a good deal, the owner was probably offered much less by the dealers, that's mostly why private deals are so much less than dealer prices. Do your homework though, does the car have a service history? is it in a good condition generally, take it for a test drive and see how it drives. If you don't know much about cars take it to AA or Dekra to do a full check for you, or take someone who's clued up about cars with you to view it.

I think I know enough to spot a lemon. Not sure i'd buy it without service history.
