2009 Honda Jazz USB Cable

Hi,

I recently bought a 2009 Honda Jazz but it came without a proprietary USB cable - on the one side it has a normal USB connector and on the other side it's Honda's own connector. I've seen the cable on the showroom floor in new vehicles but unfortunately the one I bought didn't come with it. The Workshop guys (at Honda) say that it should come with the vehicle but the used cars guys say that none of their Jazz's come with it and you have to buy it separately. I was quoted R348 for it and a two week wait was involved because they don't keep it in stock.

Long story short - where can I buy one in the Durban area?

Don't want to accuse anyone but it certainly looks like that...the car came from Avis so I'll try calling them. Long shot, but it's a R5 call vs R348 cable...

Hehe...true. had no luck calling them so i'm back to square one.

Anyone else with ideas? Does anyone have contacts with Honda or that travels to Japan regularly that could maybe get one a bit cheaper? (another long shot!)

yea if you just bought the car, push NCA and tell them they must give it to you.
its pretty expensive if you have to buy it!
