2010/2011 Transfer Thread

He and his agent left linate airport this morning. Deal should be official today. Raiola doesn't think the paper work will be done in time for him to play vs spurs, apparently there is more paper work complete a transfers to an epl club compared to la liga and serie a.

yeah they should be fine without him against spurs though

:erm:

Does anyone want to buy Bosingwa? 5p and free pie 'n coke to the first bidder.

EDIT: Let me clarify - according to Ancelotti, he is "out again"...

'Arry on why he reckons he'll get Craig Bellamy...

Redknapp confirmed he would be interested in signing Bellamy - but he does not expect Roberto Mancini to allow the Wales captain to join an immediate rival like Spurs, especially on loan.

'I think we tried to get him but they don't want to let him go, and if they don't want to let him go to Tottenham or anywhere else, that is up to them,' said Redknapp. 'If he is out of their 25-man squad, it means he can't play until Christmas. It looks almost certain he will go. He has got to play football. That is ridiculous really.

'If he is not in their squad they are not going to want him around. Be honest, you wouldn't want Craig Bellamy sitting around, coming into the dressing room every day when he is not happy.

From mario's good letter its clear he thinks he is a mega rapstar/gangster. Thanked his entourage in it.

Well, Carlo has confirmed that we will not be signing anyone else... whether he's right to do that is yet to be seen, but I'm confident that Bruma can step into Carvalho's immense shoes this season...

From Arsenal.com:
On if he is still targeting a goalkeeper in the transfer market...
"At the moment it is better for me not to talk about that because it doesn't help the keepers who play for us, so it is better that we focus on the goalkeepers we have. I believe Almunia had a good game today."

:wtf: Seriously, is Wenger blind or something?

Mesut Oezil's Father Reveals Deal Between Werder Bremen And Real Madrid

Mesut Oezil's father has confirmed a deal between Real Madrid and Werder Bremen, according to Turkish newspaper Hurriyet.

Mustafa Oezil declared that his son will be playing at the Bernabeu either this season or next.

"We promised that if Bremen keep Mesut for now, next year year he will join a free," Mr. Oezil said.

He also confirmed a better offer was on the table for the Werder star from Inter but they decided to reject the offer in favour of Los Blancos.

Story from goal.com

They are signing a player in a position they are well covered. They need a left back much then they need ozil.

Maybe they have a secret bet on with Man City to see who will have the most bloated squad at the end of the transfer window.
