2010/2011 Transfer Thread

Not Tevez but yeah a team of volatile and not quite world class players(nearly men). Recipe for disaster IMO

No dude Tevez went to City for the MONEY and to play football!

Yeah, one would've thought that in order to buy more, they'd have to take out another loan.

Oh wait...

What about the financial crisis? Not paying players?

Club in so much debt?

What do they do, they buy another player for 10 million.

Think about it.

Lets hope he doesn't become another Santon... bench more bench and never get to play :(

Santon was injured for most of the season. Had 2 knee injuries. He will be back this season. He had a difficult second season, happens to many youngsters.

What are you on about?

You make snide remarks about Barca being able to afford players, but conveniently forget that for a time they hadn't even paid out player's wages. Then you say oh wow, another player, but forget that Barc just took out a massive loan. Of course they spent that money. Or did you think they were going to borrow at 15% and put it in their savings account at 10%?

If Barca are in such good financial shape:
1. Why did they take so long to pay wages?
2. Why did they take out another loan?

He'll reply when you forgot what you asked, and once it suits him. This guy is so silly it's lunacy.

I see he's started another thread without even replying.

What a child.

U expected differently?

Eduardo has signed for Donesk, believed to be 6 million. Now take 4 of that 6 million Mr Wenger and sign a good goal keeper like Schwarzer (yes it is expensive but dammit when you're desperate people see it and will take advantage of you!)

Neymar along with coutinho(new inter signing) was the stars of the last under 17 copa america. He is now valued at €30 million. Pretty happy inter managed to get a deal done for coutinho when he was only 16, we got him for €3.8 million, only joined now due to the brazillian rules of players needing to be 18 before they can leave brazil.

Anyone who gets neymar will be very happy.

And the circus at the camp nou are trying to offload Hleb for 3m to Fulham, thats a 7m loss :D

An attacking quartet of Gerrard, Torres, Cole and Hleb supplied be Aquilani would be potent indeed.

Would lack width though
