I actually used to really like Barca, back around 2004 - 2006 (Ronaldinho in his prime days). They were actually my 2nd favourite team after United. It's weird cause now they make me wanna puke. Can't stand them.

I also used to lie them, particularly when they had Pep, Nadal et al. Champ Manager 97/98 ;) I also like them during the Ronaldinho years despite the animosity between Barca and Chelsea during that period. I mean that goal by Ronaldinho... sheesh. Alsom they stopped Arsenal from being the first London club to win the ECL. All that said - while I don't particularly like them anymore, I don't hate them so much either (certain supporters excluded of course). The Spanish duopoly have always been underhanded in their transfer dealings, so why it became such a big issue with Cesc is beyond me. It's always been like that...

Surely that should have been a RED??? Goal keeper didn't play the ball... foot way above dangerous play level and kicks the player in the head...
 
AC vs Real - top game. AC could've stolen the full three points with an offside goal from Inzaghi (who else :) ), but Pedro Leon scored in the dying minutes with a lovely reverse pass assist from Benzema.
 
AC Real game was epic. AC doing everything they can to run down the clock. Then Leon scores and all you see is Mourinho running over to Raul Albiol and pulling his warm up top off. I laughed so hard.

But ya Inzaghi was way offside but hey, it's Inzaghi.
 
I'm sorry but the way AC was playing off the ball was shameless football.
That coupled with how their supporters basically cheered on foul play... this is why football has so much deceit and bad reffing coupled with the misinterpretation. It pays off.

A lot of their players were already pushing the boundaries of cutting up play (which I guess is ok) but when Inzaghi came on... how bad can a lines man be? How did Inzaghi not get sent off for literally 2 delibrate assaults (as they were definitely nothing close to a tackle) on alonso in quick succession. Granted it is RM's players own fault for getting wound up by such tactics, but this type of football... not enjoyable to watch at all... glad RM pulled a goal back at the end to silence the cheaters.

Uefa set to investigate Real Madrid duo for 'deliberate' red cards
Uefa says it will study the match referee's report before deciding whether to charge Real Madrid players Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos for appearing to get intentional red cards in their Champions League match against Ajax.

Alonso and Ramos both collected second cautions for timewasting late in Real's 4-0 win at the Amsterdam Arena on Tuesday.

They will serve one-match suspensions in a meaningless final group match against Auxerre, then could start the knockout rounds in February with a clean disciplinary slate.

Uefa says its disciplinary unit will look at the incidents.

Dutch broadcaster NOS showed footage of Madrid coach José Mourinho speaking to Alonso on the sideline before he picked up his second yellow. However Mourinho later dismissed any suggestion he had instructed his players to seek deliberate punishments.

Jose and real did nothing different then what countless other sides have done to get yellow cards to get suspension. Didn't see this outcry then...

Good to see rafa finally move to a deeper defence line. Still finishing second in the group is going to make life difficult.

WTF dude? Everyone does it, and there is no need to get huffy over it. would you prefer your defenders to start with a clean slate for the knockout stages or not?
