Its really impossible to compare a fullback and a central defender. Personally I felt walter samuel was the best centreback in the comp but they didn't even nominate him. For me maicon was defenitly the best fullback in the competition.

I think Group G is the toughest:

AC Milan
Real Madrid
Ajax
Auxerre
 
Poor defending in this game vs twente. Played better in the second half. I guess you would take a draw away from home in the first game. Still need to improve.

They showed the Man Utd game last night and they generally show the English teams' matches. My guess is that it will either be the Chel$ki or Arse game.
Their website doesn't say...
 
I think Spurs threw away 2 points - yes its still a point away from home but throwing away a 2 goal lead in the CL can be costly.
I'm not sure what Ferguson was thinking as the team selection and their complete lack of creativity cost Man U 2 points imo. Take nothing away from Rangers though, they had a game plan, stuck to it and the entire team worked their socks off.

IIRC, Spurs and Twente are both debutants in the CL. They might add a surprise factor to the group but I still think Group G is the toughest.

Really though, apart from a terrible defensive line, only positives. A HUGE thank you to Liverpool for giving us Benayoun. He was simply superb tonight.

How Liverpool allowed him to leave will remain a mystery... He's easily among their top 5 best players while there.
