Chelsea vs Utd..

Well a match which is very hard to predict but lets have go shall we! The Last 16 games(Roman Abra era) between these teams goes like this - Chelsea won 8, drew 4, Utd won 4! Yeah you can say that UCL is different ball game etc but the bottom line is that Chelsea are starting to regain their form and have everyone fit and able to rotate going into the last part of the season, in addition not having the added pressure of fighting for EPL honours makes them a far more dangerous team in the UCL than UTD! Ancelotti did the same thing with Milan when he rotated the team quite often to ensure that he had fit, hungry players available for the UCL. The rotation will def work in our favour!

Utd might also still have defensive problems when they reach the Bridge for the first leg, where even if they have their best back line that can play they might be a bit rusty after the injuries! It is the same thing that derailed Chelsea' EPL charge mid season. I'm not saying it will be a walk over for Chelsea but its certainly not going to be easy for Utd and Chelsea are favourites in my book to overcome even if they are playing the 2nd leg at Trafford. Chelsea will have a good chance to win it if they beat Utd as confidence will be high and the 08 demons will be exorcised! Plus we have the added motivation of it being at Wembley as well as this possibly being the last shot for a few of the guys in Blue.
 
shame Shakhtar should have been 3-1 up against Barca, and the match should have been 5-4 instead of 5-1... what an unlucky team

There were two or three one on ones for Shakhtar quite early last night. Shame they couldn't capitalise.
 
Barca Man U Final with Barca taking the trophy, that was my prediction after the Semi-Final draw

Mourinho's response to last night's game. I didn't watch the game. Sounds like the referee was on top of his game again.

EDIT: Wonder if we will see the same type of report from SAF after the final?

Hmmmmm....some pretty heavy accusations there...(but not without some serious possibilities...lol)

Was reading the comment of the other guy who said that Ini was on a Yellow and he took his shirt of to celebrate but wasnt booked again (meaning he didnt miss the final against us the year they won it....mmmmm)

RVP sending off was also a joke....who knows what Arsenal might have done having played the game with the full team

Maybe SAF will be consoling the Barca effort?
