It's been a long night ....

Have the flu really bad and the damn car alarm keeps going off every 15 to 20 minutes for no reason.

It's been going off randomly for a month or two but last night was really bad.

Any idea what it could be or where I can take it to in Durban to have it checked?

Car is literally 2 months out of warranty so I'm not keen on taking it to a dealership ... The issues started the week after the warranty ended if I'm not mistaken.

Our lumina is known as the holden commodore overseas ... tried doing some research and a lot of people are suggesting it's something in the BCM. Again, dealership will totally rip me off for anything I get done there.

A good auto electrician perhaps?

have you tried disconnecting the battery for a while and then reconnecting it?
check all the fuses for breaks? change the one for the alarm anyway.
reset the ecu? might have to google that one
research an aftermarket alarm system and have it fitted by a pro.
