I know that it's not good rugby and most people will only be watching the Super 14, but for those of us without Super Rugby franchises this is all the rugby we get.

Fixtures for the first week:

Friday:

Griquas v Blue Bulls AR Abass Stadium, Kimberley 17:00
Sharks XV v Border Kings Park, Durban 18:00
Eastern Province v Pampas XV (Argentina) Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, PE 19:00

Saturday:

Welwitchias (Namibia) v Griffons Windhoek, Hage Geingob Stadium ,Windhoek 14:00
Young Lions v Leopards Ellis Park Park, Johannesburg 15:00
Boland Kavaliers v Western Province Bredasdorp 16:00
SWD v Free State Outeniqua Park, George 16:00
Pumas v Valke Puma Stadium, Witbank 19:00

I would have really loved to go to the EP vs Argentina game, but a stupid CT law, forced the Warriors to play in PE at the same time as the rugby. :(

Judging by the number of empty seats a few people had the same dilemma.

Couldn't agree more, only about 8 000 each at the cricket and rugby, and who knows how many stayed at home to watch both. Hope a situation like that never happens again.

Anyway results from yesterday:

EP 27 - 27 Pampas
Griquas 17 - 22 Blue Bulls
Sharks XV 69 - 8 Border
