So, thousands of visitors get off the plane and put their feet on African soil, and ask...do you have hotspots where we can connect to the web. Has anyone put together a pamphlet to help these poor folk get their browser home page to bounce up in success. In short....what are their options...? In France you can buy wireless scratch cards and park in a hotel parking lot, and connect to Orange. Maybe they should put broadband booths at the stadiums? I guess they will have to hook up at guesthouse wireless etc. And it is going to be hilarious when they realise that SA has bandwidth limits. In Europe, how much bandwidth you have isnt even a question asked any longer.

Most coffee shops have Wifi hotspots in malls, check out Mugg&Beans.

But the best way of connectivity would be 3G, get an 3g modem or cellphone, buy a SIM and a data bundle. Our 3g networks are great, up to 14.4 mbps, but realistically 2-3 mbps.
