Damn. If that's R109k, how much was it when it was new?
R113k in 2011 for the top of the line model. Not sure what it was in 2012. I remember in 2011 we went to check it out at the dealership. But the boot was too small for a pram. Bought a second hand Xtrail instead.

Lol what is depreciation, you probably wouldn't be able to insure this or have a rough(pricey) time doing so

9yrs and 134k km later it's depreciated by R4k?

I know that vehicle prices have increased but seriously for a 9 year old Kia Picanto with 134 000 km nogal... Is it the sunroof that's pushing the price up?

The retail value of your car if its in EXCELLENT condition is R98,000.

And any person who buys a car at full retail value is an idiot. I would say R90k to R95k is a reasonable price to pay.

Consider this helpful information to help you get the best price you can and not wait forever to sell the car.

And who in his right mind pays that?
Agreed. But the rules of the classifieds section of the forum is that no price discussion is allowed.

If its priced too high then perhaps the seller will use his judgement to realise that he priced it too high and adjust the price accordingly....

Point is that you not allowed to point it out publicly as it creates negative interference in the seller's thread.

Appreciate the comments about price. Remember supply, demand, popularity and condition dictates this and not the “book”.

Interested to know, if you don't mind sharing, what did you sell it for?
