2013 Springbok Jersey

Cape Town - A new high-tech Springbok jersey for the 2013 season has been unveiled at a function here at the Castle of Good Hope on Thursday evening.

An array of current Springbok stars, former players and celebrities gathered for the launch of the most innovative, cutting-edge jersey in the Springboks' history, with supporters also benefitting from the design-change for a new supporters’ jersey.

I like the jersey though - too bad the fans will get stuck with a cheap looking copy.

"Du Toit Botes, GM of designers, Canterbury SA, said fans will be able to wear a near carbon copy to what the Boks will play in."

I wonder how "near" that will be.

Do like the new jersey though, didn't like the white bit around the neck of the previous jersey. Still don't know why that bit was needed in white.

It still has "ABSA" on it so won't be buying it. I don't do free advertising. ABSA should pay me money to wear paraphernalia with their logo on it.
