32000km and lost 170k. Why not just keep it for another 3 years/70000km and get 100k on trade?

I got an S4 at R100k less than retail ; so took a knock on the Volvo to get the S4.

Point is though, everyone in all brands took a similar knock or worse

I bought a 2010 new for R320k
Sold for R230k privately with 60k kms, was offered 220k by a dealer

Yea, GTI is different

AS I say, could be model specific ... but so far my C30 have traded the same or more than a BMW / Merc etc
