2016 Mazda 3 1.6L

I am in the market to purchase a secondhand vehicle. I am interested in a 2016 Mazda 3 hatchback with a 1.6L engine. Does anyone have one, had one, or know of someone who had one? How was the experience and what did or didn't you like about the car? Most importantly, have you ever had any issues with it?

I had a couple of colleagues who had that 1.6, it was carried over from the first generation Mazda 3 if I am not mistaken, it's a very lazy engine but it's bulletproof in terms of reliability.

Thanks, I was guessing the 1.6L engine might be a bit underpowered. I currently drive a similarly sized car with a 1.6 n/a engine so I'm used to it. I'm just concerned about whether these cars are reliable.
