2016 Mercedes G-Class

Had my cousin down a few months ago who isn't really into cars.

Telling me they are staying in a flat of a friend and driving around with his car while down here, but only he's allowed to drive it none of the other three people with them.

Didn't think too much on it, but should have known when he said the flat was in the Waterfront.

Walk outside to see them off and there is standing a massive Mercedes G-Class AMG63 (or 65? it said V12 Bi Turbo on the side so must be 65) with massive Cobra-like pipes down the side and everything.

Sadly they were on a mission to another appointment otherwise I would go for a spin, but just hearing the thing was a treat enough.


Of course I wasn't impressed with the fact that it might as well have been a Polo to him and he pussy footed it away down the road.
 
Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder but methinks this car is fugly.

Cool story bro. It must be the '63 though. I'm pretty sure the '65 is LHD only.
 
Hard to see the point of this. Unless you're a sheik and need a sweet ride to your desert palace.
 
Its a big old brick and a damn ugly one at that.
The only thing it has going for it is a nice interior.

Yes I'm aware the G65 has a V12 & G63 a V8.

AFAIK the G65 is LHD-only. The brother would have; most likely seen the G63 unless a '65 was actually driven down.
