Wow....what a looker...pure class & elegance

Aston Martin has turned up the heat on its ultimate Super GT to create the new Aston Martin Vanquish S. Sharper styling, greater potency and increased athleticism define this latest evolution of an illustrious model line. One that originated from Aston Martin's legendary Works in Newport Pagnell and has proudly served as standard bearer for the marque's sporting and stylistic values since 2001.

In this, the second generation Vanquish's evolution to S specification, careful attention has been paid to the engine, chassis and aerodynamics to create a machine honed to deliver more intense thrills and even more scintillating performance.

Central to this is the naturally-aspirated 6.0 litre V12 engine, which now produces up to 600PS (up from 573PS) and enjoys sensational throttle response, thanks to a revised, freer-breathing intake system. These larger volume inlet manifolds allow a greater volume of air to flow into the engine at high revs, creating a relentless power delivery and a stronger feel all the way to the redline.

Building on this increased intensity, the calibration of the 8-speed Touchtronic III transmission has been revised to deliver faster gearshifts and greater refinement at low speeds for a greater sense of precision and immediacy.

I still prefer the DB10 more

Soo i ordered the DB11 and have a Rapide as well, but i would have prefered the db10 as in bond more. Looks sleek and more evil. Clean lines.

The cars are nice but service can set you back R20k or so per year.

Bond himself (Daniel Craig) ironically only drives the vantage which is really nice too. The Rapide is more a family car with nice video entertainment in the back
 
All that amazing car and the touchscreen still looks like it's an old 90's pixelated lcd screen with blue iconsets?

When you driving that car. The LCD will be the last thing you will care about. :D
 
Is there a story behind the random-paint-like appearance on the console?
 
At least this Aston looks slightly different to all the others.
I reckon if you're going to get one, just get the cheapest V8 one you can find. No one will know the difference and you can do the thing that makes buying one worth while, which is tell people you have an Aston Martin.
 
I often see Vantages sitting in traffic nowadays and they just don't catch my attention anymore. In fact I was recently wondering how long they could continue with the iconic current styling before having to go for something radically different.

As it turns out, quite a while still.

This shape is unmistakeably Aston, but my god it looks good!
 
Do you find the standard Vanquish a little soft? Well, we have good news for you: Aston Martin has unveiled the new Vanquish S, which gains sharper styling, sportier suspension and, yes, more power.

The naturally aspirated 6,0-litre V12 now makes a healthy 441 kW, with the British automaker claiming improved throttle response – thanks to a revised intake system – too. Rumour has it this extra oomph sees the obligatory 0-100 km/h sprint time fall three-tenths to 3,5 seconds.

The calibration of the eight-speed automatic transmission, meanwhile, has also been revised to deliver faster gearshifts and “greater refinement at low speeds”. Likewise, the suspension, damper internals, spring rates and anti-roll bar bushes have also been retuned to give the Vanquish S “a keener edge in the more sporting suspension modes”.

The Vanquish S furthermore features a new aerodynamic package comprising a revised front splitter and rear diffuser, both of which have been fashioned from naked carbon-fibre. A number of new options – including carbon-fibre bonnet louvres, new forged five-spoke wheels and a choice of “striking painted graphics packs” – are also on offer.

The Aston Martin Vanquish S will be available in both Coupe and Volante body styles, with deliveries in initial markets starting in December 2016.

Say hello to the Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante...

This, folks, is the new Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante. And, yes, the addition of that “S” to its name means it gains yet more power over the standard (for lack of a better word) model.

So, just like the fixed-roof Vanquish S, this stunning British convertible employs the brand’s familiar, naturally aspirated 6,0-litre V12, tuned to deliver a whopping 444 kW and 630 N.m. Add a tweaked eight-speed automatic transmission and a smattering of subtle go-faster goodies, and the result is a sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in around 3,5 seconds and a top speed of 323 km/h.

In a bid to keep the weight down, the Vanquish S Volante’s body is fashioned from a combination of aluminium and carbon-fibre, with the front splitter and rear diffuser (crafted from the latter material) providing added stability at speed.

Other features include gloss-black, 20-inch alloys and an Alcantara-heavy interior.
