Don't care that I will never be able to afford one, they are just so damn good looking seeing one is good enough.

Seeing one is depressing as I will never be able to afford one... Same with those models in the FHM magazines. :love:
 
The Jag is an expression of what is possible. For me just looking at it is good enough. Don't care if I ride away from it on a bicycle or Corsa, if you see one of these machines it is just beautiful. It is an occasion you recall.

Sometimes I wonder what cars will be like in the future, whenever we are driving and sport a burbley V8 AMG or thoroughbred V12 we drop all the windows and just listen to sound of something special. Maybe in 16 years time when everything is scaled down or electric my daughter will remember the sound of a real engine. I know I will.

To be fair bro...that was before the AWD of that V8 was available. Many reviews felt same way as JC but once the AWD came out it was much more manageable than the RWD V8.

Back to the SVR:

"Jaguar has revealed official details of the apex models of its already formidable F-Type range ahead of their Geneva Motor Show debuts, and the specifications make for compelling reading.

Although Jaguar had previously confirmed the SVR Coupe’s 320 km/h top speed, but had omitted the details surrounding the powerplant responsible for such shunt. Now it’s been confirmed that the company’s long-serving 5,0-litre supercharged V8 has been uprated by the folks at Jaguar-Land Rover’s Special Vehicles Research (SVR) unit to the tune of 423 kW and 700 N.m. Coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission and channelling drive to all four corners, the unit propels the both the Coupe and Convertible from 0-100 km/h in a shade over 3,5 seconds. But while they share the same sprint time the two diverge when it comes to their respective top speeds – the Convertible clocking 312 km/h and the Coupe 322 km/h.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR features an enhanced version of the R’s aerodynamic package, which includes a flat underfloor, revisions to the front valance and a sizeable carbon-fibre rear wing. A revised rear splitter frames the business end of a new titanium exhaust system, which Jaguar claims will give the already aurally ebullient V8 and even harder-edged soundtrack.

The SVR treatment has also seen a significant number of changes take place under the F-Type’s skin, including the addition of carbon-ceramic brakes, an uprated chassis with new dampers and anti-roll bars, and lightweight 20-inch aluminium alloy wheels. New calibrations for the gearbox and the all-wheel drive, torque vectoring, adaptive dynamic, power steering and stability control systems round out the technical upgrades.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR will reach the local market during the second half of 2016."

There's an R that parks downstairs every day and every once in a while I see the owner he's about my age and looks like a super hipster.

I just want to klap him with my helmet and take his car.
