2018+ Polo 1.0tsi dsg - common issues

Hi all,

Doing some research on these Polos but cant seem to find much regarding reliability issues.

Are the motors as troublesome as the previous 1.2 tsi's were?

Are the DSG issues common on these models as well?

Any other common issues to look out for?

Tsi engines seem to have a bad reputation. Lots on it on the www. Evidently the rings are too thin. I'll steer clear from any VW in any case. Had very poor experience with it. Had one as rental recently. Can confirm nothing changed. All plastic clipped together like Lego. Thinnist doors I've seen on a car. Poor behavior on the road, especially when the South-Easter blows. Can't imagine the people from the same country make Merc & BM which are in a totally different class.
