Drove one this morning. Salesmen were both busy, so they just made a copy of my license and gave me the keys to the high spec model.

Very comfortable drive and very high spec level for the price. No brainer to pay the extra R50k for the higher spec model, because you get so much more... and they are important features to me. The interior surprised me, as I have never been a big fan of Subaru interiors, but I really like this one. The one big omission is heated front seats. I didn't need them this morning and assumed they would be there, so never looked. Don't see them on the spec list however

Fair... Liveable I guess. Didn't get my heart racing... but to get a nicely spec'ed Tiguan 2.0 4Motion, you are looking at 50% more. The price on this is much more palatable for me right now. Might just do it in a few months.

I was about to say the same. The specs look spartan by comparison.

Pretty good looking interior. The exterior looks...unchanged. The pricing on the other hand isn't bad at all

Not really. Still well above R200k for a 2013. My 2013 Passat is sitting well below R200k. Anyone want to buy it?
