alrighty folks the opening matches are out of the way lets hear those predictions

Relegation predictions are tough.

Newcastle: Big money attacking signings haven't got going yet and their defence and structure has taken a step back after Rafa's departure. It was the defence that kept them up last season. If they don't find goals its going to be a tough old season. Steve Bruce was already questioning the commitment of his players after their second game. Fans also hate the fact that Newcastle hired Bruce, so if things go south on the pitch the toxicity in the stadium (which is already high because of the animosity towards the owner) will reach 3.5 roentgen and do the players no favours.
Norwich: They're positive, I'll give them that, but they're also open at the back and have conceded the most goals to date. If Teemu Pukki stops scoring they're in trouble. Reminds me of Martinez's Wigan or Fulham from last season. 404 defence not found but by god they'll get those two goals while conceding 4.
Sheffield United: Similar to Norwich, they were promoted on the back of attacking and inspired play. Unlike Norwich, they have adjusted their play and have adopted a more conservative approach. Still may not be enough as they haven't invested heavily in their squad and their promotion was a case of overachieving based on available resources, so staying up is going to be tough going.
Aston Villa: 12 new signings. That approach didn't keep Fulham up. They also lost Tammy Abraham's goals, which were crucial to their promotion. Still some quality there, notably in Jack Grealish, but replacing Abraham's goals will be a tough ask. On the whole they may be the best equipped of the 3 promoted sides to stay up IF they can get the new signings to gel.
Brighton: Scored 35 and conceded 54 in 2018/19. Scored 34 and conceded 60 last season. Granted the second season is often the toughest for a newly promoted side, but they've played at similar levels for the past two season and treaded water. Much of the same this time around.

First manager to be fired:

Toss up between Javi Gracia (Watford managers don't last coupled with their poor start) and Steve Bruce (fans don't like him and he's already calling players in to question). Whichever of these two has a prolonged rough patch will be sacked.
