In 1995, the iconic McLaren F1 GTR challenged other racing veterans at the historic 24 Hours of Le Mans for the very first time. McLaren not only qualified but crushed the competition to bring home five finishes leading to the most successful debut in the race's history.
To celebrate the original victory back in 1995, and honor Bruce McLaren's memory, a limited-run of 5 GTR-style McLaren F1 cars were built for the road. These very special cars were not typical McLaren F1s; they were enhanced to create a tribute true to Bruce McLaren's dream - to create a genuine race car experience on the road.
Redesigned cam covers, and an engine tune provided more horsepower, while weight was reduced, and aerodynamics were improved, through the use of GTR-style bodywork. The cars were painted in Papaya Orange - to pay homage to the Can-Am sports cars of the 60s and the McLaren racing colors. The F1 LM cars are considered to be the fastest iteration of an already record-breaking McLaren, and with so few made they have become a highly coveted collectors' car in the past quarter of a century.

McLaren Reveal 5 Special Senna GTR LMs To Celebrate 1995 Le Mans 24 Hours
The manufacturer from Woking has revealed five special Senna GTR LM models to celebrate the five McLaren F1 GTRs that dominated the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans.
As you can see below, all examples have been given their own unique paint scheme thanks to McLaren Special Operations and each has been designed to mimic the look of the F1 GTRs that finished in 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 13th at the 1995 race.
Each car took a minimum of 800 hours to paint and to make things more difficult they had to ask for special permission from companies such as Gulf and Harrods, as well as Le Mans organizer the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) to create various logos and trademarks. The only piece of vinyl on the exterior is a recreated scrutineering sticker on the roof of each car.
McLaren Senna GTR LM 825/1 is a homage to the McLaren F1/01R which we have come to know as the ‘Ueno Clinic’ car. This is the McLaren that won the race and the theme looks outright wicked on the Senna GTR LM.

Will we ever get tired of drag racing videos? I highly doubt it especially when they are as ridiculous and radical as this one.
Of course, this is not a fair fight considering the Hoonicorn is an absolute purpose-built weapon packing 1,400 hp but it is still entertaining nonetheless.

McLaren Sabre, an exclusive new McLaren Special Operations (MSO) bespoke commission hypercar, made its public debut. McLaren Beverly Hills will hand over the keys to the first of 15 customers to take delivery of the Sabre, with each customer having participated in the development process.
The McLaren Sabre is designed and homologated exclusively for the US market, stretching design, engineering and aerodynamic conventions to new limits.
Boasting the most powerful non-hybrid McLaren twin-turbo V8 engine to date, the Sabre has 824bhp and 590lb-ft of torque. A maximum speed of 218 mph makes it the fastest-ever two-seater McLaren.

The McLaren Sabre was not exactly a surprise when it was revealed in December last year as the patent images, as well as leaked renderings, showed us the car well before the official reveal.
A group of customers approached McLaren with the idea of the car which resulted in a run of 15 Sabres confirmed for North America.
Each of the 15 Sabres is specific by the owner, allowing them to pick the paint, carbon fiber tint, and interior treatment. Mr JWW managed to get some time with one of these brand new Woking creations to give us a better look at the hypercar.
