WHAT'S THE VERDICT?
“Citroen's hatch isn't like all the rest and plays big on comfort. Plus, it's not a crossover”
It's good to find a hatch that isn't like all the rest. The comfort and quietness proposition is met, and there's plenty of interest in the design. It's also better to drive than Citroen's previously advertised ‘comfort' cars, having found some new accuracy in its steering and straight line stability. That predictable behaviour itself reduces fatigue.
It’s probably not the most practical family car, all things considered, but those looking for something that’s consciously different and stands out from the same old same old that’s found elsewhere will be happy enough.

Citroen unveils e-C4 and e-C4 X updates for 2025
Citroen has unveiled redesigned C4 and C4 X models at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. Set to hit dealerships in early 2025, the new C4 and C4 X versions bring a sleeker new look and improved onboard technology.
Both the e-C4 and e-C4 X receive a redesigned front with slim LED headlights, a bolder grille, and a more prominent placement of the Citroen logo. The e-C4 also gets a revised rear end for a cleaner, more aerodynamic appearance.
Citroen has also expanded the color palette for the two models, adding Manhattan Green and Mercury Grey to the existing options. The popular black roof two-tone option remains available.
Inside the cabin, we see redesigned Advanced Comfort with more cushioning, making and a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster to join the existing 10-inch touchscreen.
