Land Rover previews first-ever Range Rover Sport Electric
Set to ‘redefine’ the luxury electric SUV segment, Land Rover has previewed the first-ever Range Rover Sport Electric.
Previewed at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Land Rover has confirmed the first-ever all-electric Range Rover Sport. The Range Rover Sport Electric will join the upcoming Range Rover Electric as the second EV in the British marque’s SUV portfolio.
Set to “redefine” the luxury electric SUV segment, the battery-powered Range Rover Sport will arrive later this year, Land Rover says. “Range Rover Sport Electric will usher in a new era of sporting luxury – promising to be more dynamic and faster than ever,” said the UK brand. “It features the same unmistakable, muscular form – now driven by a fully electric powertrain to deliver effortless, visceral performance.”
Paying homage to the ‘Range Rover Sport’ nameplate’s legacy of “pioneering” performance, over the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed weekend, the emissions-free Range Rover Sport completed a series of challenges on the Goodwood Motor Circuit. Land Rover says this model will adopt a selection of advanced technologies to “unleash” more power and torque. It will also feature a new chassis tune.
