I mean you said in a previous post that you believe the IDF numbers 100% so I doubt anything that anyone else could say on the subject would change your mind.

It takes years to count how many people have died in a conflict. In most cases decades.
The fact that Hamas are coming out with "official figures" since day one should speak to their ability to lie.

Starvation myth:

According to the IPC's Gaza "Famine" report, their should be 227 deaths per day MINIMUM.

That is 1 587 per week.

Where are the thousands of images of the emaciated and dying??

The IPC report says that 1.07 million people are in Emergency IPC Phase 4 which means 1 in 10 000 people are dying, because they lack food, every single day!

If you add up the IPC figures for Gaza and tally up Phase 3, Phase 4 and Phase 5 ( 2 per 10 000) as claimed, it means 227 people dying DAILY of starvation.

These figures should be double in certain aspects when you take in account the parameters for children younger than 5yo old.

I don't however think the IPS are purposely lying, but they are basing their figures on information from UNRWA and we all know what that means.

This "official" famine classification was from August 15.

After the first 8 days, hamas themselves reported 40 deaths by starvation. Well, it should have been 1 816 deaths.

From January to March 16, Israel and Gaza had a ceasefire.

During that ceasefire period, Israel let 18 500 aid trucks go into Gaza. That's the equivalent of 380 000 metric tons of food.

According the UN and World Food Program, that is enough food to feed Gaza for 8 months.

I think a journalists job is to verify and confirm facts and if there is a dispute about casualties then there should be some way to at least do some checking as to the accuracy of numbers provided.

Otherwise you choose to believe the IDF, other choose the Gazan ministry of health and the truth lies somewhere in between.

No it is not. A journalist is supposed to look and report on what he/she sees.

Not to investigate and confirm kills. Or to identify dead bodies in an active warzone.

edit: Started watching it now, 4 minutes in. He has been to Israel 5 times, 4 times embedded with the IDF and has interviewed Netanyahu three times. Will continue to watch but it's clear where his sympathies generally lie. He claims he is pro-truth, maybe that's true, lets see..
