Our client is looking for a Asp .Net Developer for Developing / Programming solutions for client websites and/or systems and contributing to ongoing development of internal systems and processes.
The role will involve working in the Digital Team and reporting to the Technical Director.
Our client is a long standing creative and digital agency working with blue chip clients across Europe. They currently have a fantastic opportunity available for the right candidate, with the appropriate qualifications, to join their growing team. Based in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape and working alongside the technical director you will be exposed to a range of technologies and systems, with opportunity to develop your skillset further.
Key requirements
A passion for all things web related
At least 2+ years of experience using the following (or combinations of):
C#
SQL Server
ASP.NET (WebForms and/or MVC)
HTML (knowledge of HTML5 a bonus)
CSS
JavaScript
jQuery (or any other JavaScript based frameworks)
LINQ
Object Oriented Concept Knowledge
IOC / Dependency Injection
Exposure to ORM’s such as Entity Framework, Linq to SQL, nHibernate etc.
RESTful API development experience
Understanding of Relational Database Design Principles
Understanding of Responsive and/or Adaptive Design principles
Basic Project Management Knowledge (Scrum, Agile etc.)
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of wider team
Knowledge of .NET based CMS platforms (eg: DotNetNuke, Umbraco, Orchard etc.) an advantage
Knowledge of Enterprise CMS platforms a distinct advantage (EpiServer and/or SiteCore)
Digital knowledge expected
A good practical understanding of all or some of the following will be beneficial.
UX and IA tools such as Axure RP
CMS landscape and pros and cons of options.
Deeper knowledge .NET based CMS Platforms such as Umbraco, e.g. what can and can’t be achieved? Best themes and plug-ins available? How to develop custom modules and what approaches should be followed ?
Marketing automation/email marketing platforms
CRM systems such as Salesforce (exposure to Force.com development an advantage)
Ad serving environments
SEO / Search best practices
Analytics and campaign monitoring tools
Web based performance considerations
