Im having a weird problem on my new 22" that I got.
What happens is that if I connect the monitor via DVI then its all fine during the post and during windows startup, but as soon as it gets to the windows desktop the monitor switches off and cannot find a source.
It works fine via the analogue d-sup connect, but who wants to use that when you can use DVI?
What I have done to try to get it to work...
Removed the nvidia drivers and rebooted - this worked with the DVI and the windows interface but was supser sucky in terms of not having drivers installed for the 6600.
So I left things as they were and then installed the lastest nvidia drivers and rebooted.
As soon as it got to windows the monitor fell over again.
I have also installed the actual monitor drivers that were supplied as well as the updated ones for digital and for analogue connections.
Does anyone have any idea as to what could be wrong?
