23 striking Tshwane bus drivers fired

Pretoria - The City of Tshwane has fired 23 bus drivers after they embarked on an unprotected strike for the third time.

City of Tshwane spokesman Blessing Manale said all the 23 fired bus drivers were intimidating other workers and brought the Are Yeng Bus Service into disrepute.

“They were undermining the credibility of the the Are Yeng Bus Service. We have given them warnings and this time around we decided to fire them,” he said.

This ^ which is the reality of the anarchy which has become a norm. Wildcat strike. But as soon as you want to implement appropriate remedial action, they go on the rampage till you reinstate them backdated to dismissal and a 15% increase in salary and fewer working hours and +50% to thirteenth cheque, etc. etc.
