I can't seem to find stock of the ASUS PG248Q or the DELL S2417DG online. (or maybe my search skills are super ***) Anyone have contacts or ideas?

I see PC Link Computers and Raru have the Acer XB241H.

Cool thanks. I've never bought from Wootware because they don't have a credit card facility, which means no rewards.

I think the 27" is a little too big for my setup and it chows power. The 24" has a 2-4 week wait on it.

I'll have to decide between waiting for the Dell 24" or get the Acer. Decisions decisions.

Edit: The dell has a tiny bezel so it would be awesome in multi display setup.

If you're going to spend the money for g-sync you might as well get something a bit nicer than 24". Not as if the price difference between them is huge.

What would you recommend?

An ASUS MG248Q (adaptive sync) is like 8.8k where the Dell is 9.1k (G-SYNC), from what I can see. I have an Nvidia card but I don't HAVE to have a G-SYNC monitor. But for R 300 extra, I might as well get the better option.

Maybe I should have said that the monitor has to be a high frame rate monitor, e.g. 144hz. I want to get back into FPS games and I'm eagerly awaiting Quake Champions (which is being designed for 120hz).

Go for the G-Sync, worth the extra R300.
