2nd hand modded ps3?

Hey guys, i got me a 2nd hand ps3 about a month ago and its working pretty sweet...its modded...
I just want to know if there is a way to wether mine has a custom firmware or if it has stock firmware but jailbroken?
I go to my system info and all it says is software version 3.55.
Doesnt say anything else...
How do i tell if it has a cfw or if it is jailbroken...
I know that it has been hacked but i just want to know which method was used...
Ive tried to phone the guy i got it from but no luck.....
Also tried googling but nothing..

Play a game off a external HDD - if it play's then its a CFW.

If it reports 3.55 as the version then chances are its the original firmware.

It can play games off hard drive,can install emulators and stuff as well...

But it does say software version 3.55

Thats why im not sure what method he used....
Anyone?
 
So its running cfw?
So its not jailbroken?

I always thought installing cfw and jailbreaking was 2 different things....
