2x ADSL Lines

You might still get old stock, but I'd rather not go for a product that has no support anymore. Cisco has discontinued that series.

Ok thanks now let me start googling for the Draytek Vigor 2910 thanks again froot , you are a really helpfull member

No problem... I still don't see why you want such high speed capacity :D
I have 384...

Hey guys

I have our second line installed, now which of the suppliers have the router to combine our 2x 4MB lines. I have read the thread but am looking @ either a Netgear or D-Link model here. Suggestions are welcome. Also hearing that Telkom doesn't allow one to combine 2x lines so am abit confused here.

Am based in Durban.

I also am fustrated with how slow our 4MB lines perform and wouldn't mind downloading at double current speeds :).

PS
Not trying to hijack this thread from matrixweb

the drytek i got requires another to adsl MODEMS to connect 2 lines , waiting for the 2nd line and checking where they sell adsl modems only not router

Cisco ADSL WIC's

You can buy one of my old Cisco 3620 access routers and install 8 ADSL WIC's
for 8 seperate connections with a proper IOS.

Remember you can't download at double the speed unless you use bonding (expensive) but you can download TWICE the amount at 4mbps.

I have a brand new Draytek V3300 for sale. Has the ability for 4 x WAN rg45 connections. (you'll need modems for adsl connections).

PM if need more info.

Why would you want to spend all the money on special routers, you can just LB with a mikrotik?

just my 2 cents but if you do follow this procedure your second may actually get the full 4 megs as the speed is determined by the quality of the line and the assumption is that a new line will have have a better quality .... but this is not necessarily the case it might even be worse
