Buying gifts for girls has got to be the one of the hardest things to do.Also, I'm pretty bad at it :erm:

Well anyway, shes 19 (yes yes we young), when I asked ,she said she wants something "nice and beautiful and pretty", like what is that suppose to mean  Girls I tell you....

So far I thought I'd get her the usual card, maybe some chocolates, and a friend suggested a framed photo of us.
Though I still need something like proper you know.

Ideas? I've got about 1k to spend....

Dump her. She is only in it for the money.
I have never met a girl who has actually asked for anything as an anniversary gift. Even when i asked, they usually say either "anything is fine" or "I don't want anything but you" or something equally as lame.

EDIT: More useful info, buy a digital photo frame. Load it with pictures of you two. Make it cycle through the photos while it plays her favorite song. Top it off with a "Happy Anniversary" picture at the end.

Who the heck specifies what kind of gift they want? :wtf: Every one of my ex's insisted that I don't go through the trouble, even though they knew I would. You're in for a rough time buddy. Anyway happy anniversary, hope you at least get some action after blowing that R1k.

I am glad its not just me that had that :p. But obviously, if you don't go out of your way, you will be in for a bad time :D.

Ignore the haters, You asked, she is entitled to say whatever she wants. It is not what she asks for that makes her a greedy bitch, but how she reacts to whatever you get her. If you get her something that does not live up to her expectations and she has a tantrum, looks disappointed etc... then that tells you something. The former just tells you that she is maybe more honest than most people are.

Flowers, picture frames, jewelery, all of that stuff can never go wrong. Personally I prefer to do something fun. Make an event of it. Most women will add that necklace that you bought them, into their bottomless pit of a jewelery box and wear it once a year if that. Flowers will die, chocolates will make her fat ;) . Rather give her a memory along with something material. Make the memory the main thing, the <insert material gift(s)> must be the icing on the cake.

So we are back to the dick in a box idea?

Not a big fan of the dick in a box idea, it requires you to be holding the present. If she pulls it away then your surprise is ruined. The dick in a popcorn box works much better.
