3.5G function here in South Africa

For the version with 3.5G function, we use ZTEmf-637 USB dongle, which is based on Taiwan CHUNGHWA TELECOM 3.5G service.
We are not sure if ZTEmf-637 USB dongle can be used in SA area. Usually the software needs to be customized in order to comply with local 3.5G service.

Will this technology work here in SA.?

Yes, the Vodacom, MTN and Telkom networks have "3.5G". Cell C are busy launching theirs too.
