Ive been given a 3.6kg lump of meat. I dont know what it is, but its venison

What is the best method to marinade / prepare this hunk of meat?
 
That depends a great deal on the whos eating it and the meat, both the cut and the animal.
If I didnt know where it came from I might cut one or 2 pieces to stuff but Id make droe wors and burger patties with most of it.
 
My Mrs is about to marinade it in peach juice plus spices and oven roast tomorrow......
 
Hopefully its not human flesh.
Anyway cut in cubes (4cmx4cm). Marinate in buttermilk overnight.
Next day make a stew(remove from buttermilk) with onions. bay leaf, garlic, diced bacon, and 500ml Sherry(OBS) and veggies you like. Add cup of cream just before you finished.

Edit. And depending how many is eating, you can just make half and freeze the other cubes for next time
