3-in-1 mini digital camera?

Hi all

I've seen one of those 3-in-1 mini digital cameras [stills/video/web cam] at the local Autopage. The shop owner said it was a standard VGA camera and didn't have a megapixel rating.

Anyone using one of these, and are they any good?

The above one that I saw was going for R149.00.

Father-in-law had one, extremely difficult to point and shoot. Picture blurs easy if you don't hold still enough.

Night shots was a disaster.

It only had capacity for 25 photos.

Can't recall the storage capacity in MB but number of photos mentioned on the box was 240 odd for this one.

iirc VGA is 640x480 pixels or 0.3mp.

From the info I got online, the above is spot on. The cheapest I found online was R240. As the Librarian mentioned 26 photos on this one in VGA mode [99 in CIF].
