3 Months YouTube Free

So I received a email this morning to join the service free for the next 3 months, obviously took it as the ads are becoming even more annoying these days on youtube. Anyone else get the offer?

Yep and if you cancel the subscription after the 3 months you get even more ads

Received the same email and signed up. Will probably change to the family plan when the free trial is over.

Yes I got it on my work Gmail.

I already have the family plan at home. For R110pm for 5 accounts it is worth it:
1 - both my Android tv boxes and spare home tablet (3 devices)
2 - My phone and laptop (2 devices)
3 - My wife's phone and pc (2 devices)
4 - My son's phone, pc, laptop and tablet (3 devices)
5 - Unused ATM

10 devices in total. Gives you YT and Music.

It's a test debit to your account to verify the credit card. It will be reversed today.

Had the same and it was reversed a few hours later.

I took up the offer earlier in the year and still on it. For an extra R40 I might as well do the family plan.

Yes Vanced works, but it's a touch and go. Works on one, and not on the other. Various issues at random times. Managed to get it working perfectly on my Mi Box, but then I had to use a mouse and keyboard, because the remote didn't work.

Unless the ads are extremely intrusive, I don't mind waiting the 5 secinds to click away.

I am keen on the Background Play feature though. Being able to finally watch while checking other apps

Jisses ads are intrusive as ****. I'm now paying for YouTube Premium, works great on my phone, but the Android TV version of YouTube is an abomination, sadly. Typical Google.

I usually get the obigitory ad in the beginning which I click away. Then maybe one or two during the vid - which I click away.

Maybe I'm a cheap bastard but I would rather click away an ad than pay I guess.

I'm a cheap bastard, I'd gladly pay R71 to not see any damn ads during a video, especially when playing music,

Ok ads during music would seriously drive me into murder mode. I use Deezer for my music, paid subscription there
