Hi ppl
** Sob story on **
As some of the veteran MyADSLers know, in the height of the Sentech buzz, I brought 4 IPWireless modems in from New Zealand for myself and some buddies that were "definitely keen for Sentech".
About the time the modems arrived, Sentech got crap, and my mates bailed on me. On top of that, the modems were using the wrong frequency!
Anyhow, the good folks at IPWireless, UK went the extra 10 miles and actually replaced my NZ Woosh modems with brand new modems for the Sentech frequency.
My problem is that I have since discovered that Sentech has crappy latency - which means online FPS gaming will suck. Gaming is why I wanted a 24/7 connection
.
I have since sold off one modem, and am looking to sell the remaining 3.
The modems are brand new in their packaging, and I have tested them all. Although I haven't really tried too hard to sell them, I've been sitting with the modems for 4 months now and need to free up the cash.
** Sob story off **
** Shameless plug on **
So here's the deal:
3 x IPWireless modems = R2250 each - save R1250 on the NoWire modem retail of R3500
1 x Ethernet USB cable = R125
OR all 3 modems + the ethernet cable for R6250 :>
