AutoTrader has found three hatchbacks that stand out on the pre-owned market for their remarkably efficient use of fuel.

Those Pandas look good, 1L turbo engine and not as ugly as the other 2, not bad for just over R150k and low mileage.

How reliable are they?
If I remember correctly that little 1L Turbo engine is used in quite a few brands/platforms and is pretty solid.

Offhand I think they’re pretty decent, they’ve been out a while & are relatively simple. Low running cost & super light on juice is the cherry on top. Pity they didn’t make a new 100HP version of that Gen.
