oddly enough, mine got delivered this morning.
good points: the skype is actually part of the phone, not some bolt on app. skype contact appear just as normal contacts, skype messages appear in your normal message inbox etc. quality is fine, actually not a bad phone for the price. camera is so so. data connection(for charging and pc connectivity) is a standard mini-usb.
lighter and slightly smaller than my old SE W800i
msn messenger expected in next firmware upgrade, bundled the same way the skype part is now (inbox, contacts etc)
bad points: have to top up £10 a month to keep your skype "free"...skype is no-cost as long as you topped up within the last 30 days, however, once you have topped up, you can move the money to something more useful, like spend it on data credit for internet usage (quite expensive at £5 a month for 1gb). if your actual credit balance is zero, you can still make and receive skype calls and chats. as long as you topped up < 30 days ago. the phone also supports skype presence, so you can be ~"away" etc, although the default is to be signed in to skype and available when the phone is on. positive credit will rollover to the next month.
no skypeout or skypein though
still, i got a lot of skype contacts in S.A, so this is a joy to me.
colour wise, you can have black with black trim
or white, with either light blue or pink trim.
the 3 network extends to quite a few countries...mostly european and australia. when roaming, it'll still work, but the skype part wont work as you expect.
