I'm currently on telkom LTE getting ~30mbps using speedtest.net
I am wondering how this would compare to a dedicated 4mbps fibre line (since this would be roughly in my same budget of ~R200pm). What is the "real" speed you would get with 4mbps? Does it feel faster/more responsive due to the lower latencies on fixed lines?
I know LTE can get congested but I pretty much always measure ~30mbps (probably not many users in my area).
It seems like a trade-off between speed and cap, since for R200 you get either 5GB @ 30mbps LTE or 20GB @ 4mbps FTTH.
