32 bit vista business key

hi guys,
i want to format my hdd, but i only have my dads vista dvd here, and that one is a 64 bit version. I only have a 32 bit key, will it work or not ?:confused:

it will work. but you will have to phone in to reAUTH it,

With Windows Vista, customers are free to choose either 32-bit or 64-bit editions when purchasing Windows-based computers, and licenses for Windows Vista are valid for both 32-bit or 64-bit editions of the OS. In addition, many 64-bit drivers are available in the box, and device manufactures are required to provide both 32-bit and 64-bit native drivers as part the Windows Logo Program.

I used my 32bit oem on a 64 bit oem; which is the curront OS i am writing this post form now....

...obviously only one installation at a time.

only possible issue could be drivers for certian devices and other legacy apps...
