thats insane, u can buy an external hardrive for notebooks (40gig) for around R800 , and it fits into my pocket.

$5400 for a flash drive, are they crazy
I was @ Makro yesterday looking for an external HD or flash,they have 2.5 HD
80gig for R799.00 and a 80gig 3.5 HD for R629.00 Fujitsu-Siemens Pocket HD.
There was also a 160 gig 3.5 HD for R999.00. I want a 2.5 HD not a flash because the biggest is 4gig for R599.00.Any other places I can look at?

There seems to be very little in the way of flash drives and pocket hd's these days. And with the amount of problems I have had with my last two flash drives I definately dont recommend spending R8000.00 on one.
However Vista apparently will have the capability to utilize a flash drive for virtual memory which runs a lot faster than any hard drive would for this purpose. So get a flash drive if you need a temporary memory boost
and if you have no more free RAM slots. Doubt it comes close to RAM speeds though :/
