32k vs 64k SIM?

More memory and much faster. One can also get a 128K sim card.

It's just the memory difference. There is no difference in speed.

Newer 64k/128k SIM cards might have better 3G support, but other than that there is no difference other than storage capacity.

I doubt it has anything to do with 3G speed to. I have a 16k MTN simcard and work fine. In fact I get speeds of like 3Mbps no problem.

It still says MTN - The better connection. That's how old that sim is.

With faster I meant that the sim card initializes faster than 16K or 32K sim cards. The speed of a 3G connection is dependent on the network coverage and the sim card does not play a role in this.

That's not Ayoba!

I've read somewhere they can lock onto a stronger signal or switch between 2 and 3G more accuratly?

I am having problems with 3g speed been faster then HSDPA 7.2

I has told by vodacom I must upgrade my sim from 32k to 64k so I bought a 64k and the problem is still there I am using a HTC S 740

So no it does not affect internet speed
